Garlic
Aged garlic extract for cardiovascular and immune support.
Dose & timing
- 1.2 g — with morning meal (and again at dinner)
- 1.2 g — with dinner
Why it’s in the stack
Aged garlic (Kyolic specifically) has the most consistent CV evidence among garlic forms: meta-analyses show ~5–10 mmHg systolic BP reduction at 600–1200 mg/day, modest LDL effects, and reduced platelet aggregation. The aging process converts allicin to S-allyl cysteine — less odorous and more stable.
Second daily dose. S-allyl cysteine (the active compound in aged garlic) has a ~10 h half-life, so 2× daily holds steady-state serum levels.
